Undeclared ingredients in product marketed for joint pain prompt FDA warning
February 13, 2025

FDA has issued a warning against use of ADVANCE KING, a supplement marketed for joint pain, due to the presence of undeclared drugs. Laboratory analysis revealed that ADVANCE KING contains dexamethasone, diclofenac, and methocarbamol, which are not listed on the product label. These ingredients can cause serious health issues, including increased risk of infections, cardiovascular events, gastrointestinal damage, and impaired mental and physical abilities. Physicians should advise patients to avoid this product and report any adverse effects to FDA’s MedWatch Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program.
