Adult Dosing .

Dosage forms:  TAB: 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg

diabetes mellitus, type 2

Dose: 50 mg PO tid; Start: 25 mg PO tid x4-8wk; Max: 150 mg/day; Info: give at start of each meal; may start 25 mg PO qd if GI tolerability concern, incr. dose gradually

[>60 kg]

Dose: 50-100 mg PO tid; Start: 25 mg PO tid x4-8wk, then 50 mg PO tid x4-8wk, then may incr. to 100 mg PO tid; Max: 300 mg/day; Info: give at start of each meal; may start 25 mg PO qd if GI tolerability concern, incr. dose gradually
