Adult Dosing .

Dosage forms:  ER TAB: 8.5 mg, 17 mg, 20 mg, 25.5 mg, 30 mg, 34 mg, 40 mg

HTN

[17-34 mg PO qd]

Start: 17 mg PO qd, may incr. by 8.5 mg/day qwk; Max: 34 mg/day; Alt: start 20 mg PO qd, then may incr. by 10 mg/day qwk, max 60 mg/day; Info: start 8.5 mg PO qd in elderly pts; give on empty stomach; do not cut/crush/chew tab
