Adult Dosing .

Dosage forms:  INJ (cartridge): 10 mg per mL

acute intermittent hypomobility, Parkinson dz-assoc.

[0.1-0.6 mL SC prn]

Start: 0.1-0.2 mL SC x1 initial test dose during off episode; if 0.1-0.2 mL SC x1 test dose tolerated and effective, then maint. dose will equal test dose; see pkg insert if initial test dosing not tolerated or inadequate response; Max: 1 dose/off episode; 0.6 mL/dose; 5 doses/day up to 2 mL/day; Info: consider premed w/ trimethobenzamide starting 3 days prior to 1st dose, then prn for up to 2mo; use w/ Apokyn Pen; separate each dose by at least 2h; may incr. dose by 0.1 mL every few days prn; retitrate from 0.2 mL/dose if tx interrupted >7 days; taper dose gradually to D/C
