severe acute HBV exacerbations in HBV/HIV co-infected pts when D/C emtricitabine or tenofovir; monitor hepatic fxn closely for at least several months in HBV/HIV co-infected pts who D/C elvitegravir/cobicistat/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide; initiate anti-HBV tx if needed
