CVS Caremark to cover Opill contraceptive at zero cost for some

CVS Caremark says its prescription drug plans will cover the first nonprescription birth control pill in the U.S., making it more affordable for women, including younger women and those in rural and underserved communities who often have limited access to birth control methods. Opill became available earlier this month. It will be added to CVS' pharmacy benefit manager subsidiary Caremark's preventive services oral contraceptives list and covered at no cost for many plan sponsors.
