FDA approves pulmonary stent to treat pediatric pulmonary artery stenosis

FDA recently approved the Cordis Palmaz Mullins XD Pulmonary Stent to treat pulmonary artery stenosis (PAS) in pediatric patients. The approval marks the first device of its kind approved to treat PAS in children, and offers an additional treatment option for this patient population.
