Lunds & Byerlys fresh guacamole recalled due to possible listeria contamination

Metro Produce Distributors is voluntarily recalling all Lunds & Byerlys fresh guacamole products with a use-by date of August 2, 2024, due to potential listeria contamination. The product was sold at Lunds & Byerlys stores in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud, MN, as well as Taco Mas food bars from July 27 to 31. No illnesses related to this recall have been reported to date. The recall was initiated after routine testing detected the potential contamination. The company has halted production and distribution of the affected guacamole while it conducts an investigation.
