Rheumatoid arthritis linked to increased risk of Parkinson disease

In a Korean cohort study that included 328,080 individuals (mean age, 58.6 years; 74.9% female), patients with RA had a 1.74-fold higher risk of Parkinson disease compared with controls, with an increased risk observed in those with seropositive RA.
